Step 2 Wagon For 2 Plus
On April 27, 2010, the Step2 Company issued a recall on a kids’ product distributed to retail stores across the United States. Further testing verified a potentially deadly risk created by faulty attachments located on the drums’ sides.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission also issued a report in an attempt to warn as many individuals as possible about the safety risks associated with these children’s toys.
Basic Rhythms Drums Recalled by Step2
The children’s drums were available at Burlington Coat Factories, Toys “R” Us, and other similar retail stores from August 2009 to March 2010. The Step2 Company estimated that 21,000 units were sold during the time of production. The drums could range in price from $10 to $15 dollars.
