Taped on November 19th in Little Rock, Arkansas, Disson’s Holiday Celebration on Ice kicked off the Christmas season with its air date November 29th on NBC.
Singer Rick Springfield accompanied skaters with selections from his new Christmas album. “I picked songs I really love and songs I loved as a kid,” he said. They included carols like Hark the Harold Angels Sing, The First Noel, and a new song, written to honor troops at Christmas, that Shae-Lynn waltzed & “hydroplaned” to.
Special guests REO Speedwagon also sang selections from their new Christmas album: “Not So Silent Night” – Christmas carols with a rockin’ twist.
